About the Management Institute:


The Institute of Management was established on May 1, 2013 as a result of the merger of two departments: the Department of Management in Economy and the Department of Business Management. In the following years, the Institute developed dynamically, which was accompanied by formation of new departments. Currently, there are 6 departments. Department of Strategic Management, Department of Sustainable Business, Department of Consumer Behavior Research, Department of Project Management, Department of Personnel Strategies and Department of International Strategies.

Employees of the Institute of Management conduct active research in the area of organizational management and consumer behavior. They either lead or participate in research teams implementing projects financed from various sources, including: National Science Center, the National Center for Research and Development, the National Agency for Academic Exchange, and European Union projects. Research results are widely popularized through scientific monographs, articles and papers presented and published at many scientific conferences. Every two years, a Scientific Conference is organized in Kazimierz Dolny devoted to issues related to enterprise management, and since 2014, a regular Scientific Symposium has been organized entitled Contemporary management problems. Since, 2021 a series of webinars entitled “Management Discussions.” Since 2021, regular studies called "Barometer of Responsible Enterprise Management" and "Barometer of Consumer Social Responsibility" were launched, monitoring the activity of enterprises in the area of responsible management and the socially responsible attitudes of consumers.
