KM Conference 2025, Social Event (Saturday, 28 June, 2025)

On Saturday, 28 June 2025, we will have the KM 2025 Conference Social Event tour. The day will start with a pickup from our hotel (buses will pick up at the Hotel NH Siena (Piazza La Lizza, 1 53100, Siena - Italy). We will have two English-speaking guides with two buses and start the day with an amazing drive in the heart of the Tuscany region. We will visit the famous Museo Leonardiano di Vinci, established in 1953, which features one of the most comprehensive and unique collections dedicated to Leonardo di Vinci, the renowned Renaissance genius, an inventor, technologist, and engineer, with numerous models of his machines, meticulously recreated from his original sketches. We will have lunch at a local restaurant and enjoy socializing with conference colleagues and friends over a magnificent Italian meal. The bus will then take us back through the breathtaking views of the Tuscany region, where we will stop at the famous Olive Oil Mill - Frantoio di San Gimignano for an afternoon break. We will have a guided tour of the production of high-quality extra virgin olive oil that has been handed down over the decades by the Morettini family. We will enjoy tasting and learning about high-quality extra virgin olive oil. Then, we will have a short ride back to Siena arriving at the Hotel NH Siena in the early evening. Please plan for the whole day as we do not have a way to predict the traffic and final arrival time.

We recommend that you wear comfortable walking shoes, a hat, and bring a bottle of water with you!
