Publication Ethics and Malpractice

1. Editorial Board
The Online Journal of Applied Knowledge Management (OJAKM) has a strong editorial board with members from all over the world as evident via The OJAKM Editorial Board page.
Editorial Office contact: editor.ojakm@iiakm.org

2. Authors and Authors Responsibilities
Author(s) must comply with the "Publication Ethics & Research Code of Conduct" section on the journal homepage. There are no fees or charges that are required for manuscript processing and/or publishing materials in the journal as indicated also on the OJAKM homepage. Moreover, authors are obliged to participate in peer review process of other submissions and will be called upon to provide their CV for evaluation and qualifications by the Editor-in-Chief and Senior Editors. Moreover, by submitting a manuscript for the peer review process at OJAKM, authors are attesting that:
- The manuscript is the author(s)' original, unpublished work.
- The manuscript is NOT under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- All authors have significantly contributed to the research.
- All authors are obliged to provide retractions or corrections of mistakes.
- List of references, financial support.
- Forbidden to publish same research in more than one journal.

3. Peer-Review Process
All submissions to OJAKM are double-blind refereed by highly qualified international peers who are experts in the manuscript's research area. All OJAKM articles are open access and free of charge to everyone around the world. The institute does not charge authors for their submission and/or accepted papers published in the journal, while all members of the Editorial Review Board Members are volunteering scholars. Some publication in OJAKM are connected to the annual KM conference, where best-papers from the conference, which previously was subjected to double-blind refereed by at least three experts in the research area, are invited to expand and undergoing additional editorial review by the senior editorial team (usually includes the Editor-in-Chief & one or more Senior Editor(s)). Moreover, the Editor-in-Chief & assigned Senior Editor(s) ensures that the judgments of the double-blind peer-review process of every manuscript submitted is objective, and that reviewers have no conflict of interest, they expected to point out relevant published work which is not yet cited, and that the reviewed articles are treated confidentially.

4. Publication Ethics The International Institute for Applied Knowledge Management (IIAKM) and the OJAKM Editor-in-Chief & Senior Editors take significant steps to identify and prevent the publication of papers where research misconduct has occurred. All submitted articles are subject to plagiarism verification and authors with demonstrated plagiarism and/or other copyright violations will be rejected. All OJAKM editors and editorial team members, upon acceptance, attest to adhere to the highest ethical standard and discourage any misconduct, or allow such misconduct to take place. Moreover, in the event that IIAKM or OJAKM editors are made aware of any allegation of research misconduct, such instances will be investigated by a IIAKM and the senior editorial team to ensure the allegations have been dealt with appropriately. All previously published manuscripts in OJAKM are subject to the "Guidelines for Retracting or Correcting Articles" section as indicated also on the Submission Guidelines. IIAKM and/or OJAKM editors are always willing to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies when needed.

5. Copyright and Access
